	Wonderful Italian Restaurant in Jasper TripAdvisor Dec 2025
	My husband and I arrived in Jasper after traveling about four hours from Banff. We were picking up the train in Jasper the following morning and staying at the Whistler’s Inn across from the train station. We were tired and hungry when we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised to find Cassios restaurant connected to the hotel. The food was excellent and the service was as well. We had delicious bruschetta, creamy fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and real Italian grated cheese to add to the pasta. We were too full for dessert which I’m sure would have been fabulous. I would highly recommend this restaurant when you are in Jasper. TripAdvisor

	We did not have a reservation for this restaurant (I highly recommend one though!) as I was drawn to it due to the advertisement of Mussels on the menu. Having recently enjoyed some amazing Italian Mussels in Monterosso, I wanted to see if Canadian restaurants could compare. The Mussels & Clams appetizer was very good (not Italy quality, but a very close comparison)! The mussels were tender, in a subtle tomato spice sauce. My linguine e gambero was great, with large, tender shrimp. My boyfriend tried the gnocchi with sausage and pork bolognese, which he was very fond of. The food was superb, the restaurant ambiance intimate and light, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. 	“The BEST restaurant in Jasper!”, Trip Advisor 19 July 2012
	We searched high and low for a nice restaurant in Jasper and after reviewing the menus outside the restaurants, coupled with the positive reviews on Trip Advisor, we visited Cassio's last night. It was so good that we are going back tonight. A little pricey but that was our choice with wine, appetizer and dessert. But then again even a hamburger in Canada is pricey no matter where you go. At least here, the portions are worth it. I usually don't order ravioli because you never get enough but at Cassio's I had a problem trying to finish the amount I was served. And, the butternut squash ravioli were fabulous. Our waitress, Tricia, was the best! TOTALLY enjoyed it! cardscharlotte, Charlotte
